Taking Tap Dance Classes

When are the classes?
Every day and in the evening as well.

Can men take classes?
Yes, there are usually a man or two in every class; in California I had more men than women students.

How much does it cost?
$45/month for 4 one-hour classes.

But I work days!
Classes are available at 6:00 PM Monday, Wednesday or Thursday, depending on your ability.

Is there anything I need to bring?
You need to bring water and a note from your mom (joke).

What about shoes?
Don't bother to buy anything until you know if you like me and taking tap dancing.

What do I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothes winter: legs covered, T-shirts; summer: shorts, T-shirts. In the fall and winter I recommend sweatshirts when we start to warm up, discarding them before doing 5 minutes of weights, and then "we are ready to tap!"

How long have you taught tap?
Over 50 years. I started to teach tap, ballet and baton as a student teacher when I was 13. I probably have been teaching longer than you have been on the earth.
